Travis and his wife, Kirsi, currently reside in White Bear Lake, MN and have three beautiful daughters, Renata Mae (4), Rosalyn Marielle (3) and Marit Azalea (1).

A native of Elgin, MN, Travis was a four-sport athlete at Elgin-Millville HS. He played football at Winona State, earning honors as both a 1st Team NCAA II All-American running back and 1st Team GTE Academic All-American. In his senior season, Travis broke the D-II national record for touchdowns in a season (30). He’s been inducted into his high school and college halls of fame. In twenty years coaching college football in Minnesota, he tutored 20+ All-Americans at eight different O-D-K positions. At his longest tenured stops, Winona State and St. Thomas, he was part of programs that had a combined record of 161-34, nine conference championships and two national runner-up finishes. He is currently the owner of Route Tree, a consulting company specializing in football program efficiency, college process education and coach mentoring. This past fall, Route Tree launched its 3 on 3 football model which highlights its core mission of improving Minnesota football by finding creative ways to grow the sport and retain athletes. Travis and his wife, Kirsi, have three daughters, Renata (4) and Rosalyn (3) and Marit (1). His brother, Carson, is currently coaching with the Cleveland Browns.
